MyOpenMath: Add open education math resources to your Moodle course

MyOpenMath is a tool for open educational resources (OER's) on mathematics. This article explains how to add MyOpenMath materials to your course.

Before you start, you will need:

  • An Instructor of record or Non-editing teacher role in a Bryn Mawr Moodle course

Add Credo resources to Moodle

  1. Log into your Moodle course and switch Edit Mode on.
  2. Click   Add an activity or resource in the section where you want to put MyOpenMath materials. 
  3. Click the All tab, then click MyOpenMath.

  1. A new page will open that's titled Add External Tool. Click the Select Content button.
  2. A new pop-up menu will open showing the different MyOpenMath assessments available to add to your course. Select the content what you want to add, then click Submit.

Note: Only assessments can be added to Moodle through the LTI tool. Other MyOpenMath content, such as instructional texts, can be added as files to Moodle courses. See Moodle: Add files and folders to a course for details. 

  1. The pop-up menu will close and the name of the content you picked will appear in the Activity name field within the New External tool page.
  2. Click Save and return to course.

Any activities you selected will now appear in their specified section.
