Overleaf is a web-based platform for creating and publishing documents in LaTeX and Rich Text format. Basic accounts are free, but have some feature limitations. Bryn Mawr College faculty, students and staff who need access to premium features can now get a premium account through the College's group educational license.
Request a Premium Account
- Create a free Overleaf account with your Bryn Mawr College (BMC) email.
- Email help@brynmawr.edu to request a premium account. A member of LITS will upgrade your account and let you know when the process is complete.
- After you have been added to BMC's license, cancel your individual license if you have one. Otherwise, Overleaf may continue to bill you for it.
Premium Features
- a premium account on BMC's Overleaf Standard license. If you do not have one, email help@brynmawr.edu to request one. Further instructions can be found under Requesting a Premium Account.
The premium features fall into three main categories: features that improve collaboration, those that aid in document creation, and those that integrate third party tools. Overleaf documentation for each feature is linked in the table below. For more information about the basics of document creation in Overleaf refer to Overleaf: Document Creation Basics.
